ÉCHO is about movement, crowds, and anonymity.
It follows a single day in a new place, where jet lag slowly takes over and shifts the way you see.
I photograph people the way they actually appear in the city, passing, slipping away the second you cross them. Bodies stretch, faces fade, outlines blend into each other.
Morning
First light. You’re up way too early,
but you don’t care, new city, new everything.
Noon
Your head’s spinning. Too much to see, too much to feel.
You kinda wish it would never stop.
Afternoon
Faces blur, buildings smear together.
You remember flashes, not moments.
Evening
You’ve slipped into something else.
Nothing really makes sense, but somehow it feels right.
